Well summer is upon us and it is hot and sticky in the state of Kansas. The boys are loving being out of school. But little do they know that mom is already planning next school year. We have spent most of our time running from ball field to ball field. Any free time we have spent at the new Gardner aquatic center, which has been so much fun. There is nothing like a day of swimming and hot sun to totally wear the boys out and then we can have a quiet evening at home. I wish!!!! With 2 growing boys there is no such thing as a quiet night. In the coming weeks the boys will be traveling to Oklahoma to spend a couple weeks with grandparents, which means mom and dad will be in the house all alone. Then we will have all the peace and quiet we want. But then we will just wish that they were back home.
